Srinath Rajendran has helmed Kurup, inspired by the life of Kerala’s most wanted criminal, Sukumara Kurup. The film spins around a crime, which has achieved legendary status for the years in Malayalam mainstream society. Sukumara Kurup is on the rundown of fleeing charged since 1984 and needed in the murder of film agent Chacko.
