Malayankunju is a Malayalam language survival thriller film. It directed by Sajimon Prabhakar and written by Mahesh Narayanan. The movie also features Fahadh Faasil and Rajisha Vijayan in the lead role. Indrans, Jaffer Idukki, and Deepak Parambol are playing the supporting roles. The ‘Malayankunju’ trailer posits that the film will be a survival drama focusing on the character Anil Kuttan played by Fahadh Faasil. Faasil in the beginning turns out to be a good person as he sets out to save a small kid who trapped inside a hole or somewhere else. The trailer also shows glimpses of surreal sequences that literally lift a usual survival story to a different level. The makers also warned claustrophobic people to stay away from watching the movie.

Based on a true story that took place in the high range areas in Kerala, in which many people lost their lives and loved ones. In the movie, Anurudhan (Fahadh Faasil), an electrician with many shades, struggles to survive under the rubble of an intense landslide.
