Runway 34 movie is basically about a narrow escape that a flight from Doha and Kochi had a few years back due to unclear visibility and bad weather conditions. Captain Vikrant is a high-flying pilot who is confident and borderline arrogant about his abilities. He’s employed with an airline company. Captain Vikrant and first officer Tanya Alburqurquee find themselves riled in an investigation following a Mayday call before landing an aircraft in testing conditions. Do the pilots aptly justify their actions and make their way back into the cockpit?
Movie Review
Runway 34 Movie is a perfectly synced storyline. Whenever you wanna make these kinds of thriller stuff first of all you’ve to make sure there are no story glitches because those things can affect the smooth rhythm of the thriller somehow. Director did a smooth yet funky job. A well-balanced movie with some really good visuals. Ajay’s performance was that much tough as you generally expect & Amit Jee has done a phenomenal job too. Carryminati’s cameo was also a really good idea to grab the attention of young audiences. Rakul’s performance was quite weak compared to others. Amitab Bachchan & Ajay Devgn when coming together on screen have just nailed it with their performance
It engages in both thrill and drama departments in equal measures. Performance is top-notch by Ajay Devgn, Amitabh Bachchan and all other actors did justice to their part. However there could be some more drama in the second half, you can experience the scariest, near-disastrous aviation mishap in recent times.
The first half probably the best first half of a Bollywood film after Andhadhun especially the cabin. Cockpit that created and the VFX of outside the plane where the clouds, rain and turbulence showcased. It was absolutely thrilling, gripping and edge of the seat stuff along with a terrific BGM and Jasleen Royal’s song The Fall just added to the environment brilliantly. The second half is a drop off in quality but I didn’t feel so because the court room dialogues and the acting which I will come on to in a while just lifted it. It was well crafted and ended with a brilliant message. This movie shouldn’t ignored especially, because we always see underwhelming Bollywood films and say that they don’t make good content so when a good film has come out it not ignored. And finally the acting by the 3 main characters was absolutely terrific.
